The first thing we did was make three round vanilla cakes, and purple buttercream. When the cakes were cut and cooled when stacked them and added purple buttercream in between each layer. After we did a crumb coat with buttercream to fill in the holes and imperfects. Once we let that cool we did a layer of purple buttercream all over the cake, then we used white buttercream to put borders on the cake and add some white on top of the cake. We also decided to add purple on top of the cake to fill it in.

Three things that went well were the flavor, time management, and our buttercream.

Three things I want to improve are being more creative, maybe made a bit of a bigger cake, and used a bit of water when spreading the butter cream on the cake to make it smooth.

Two things I learned Don't make the buttercream to thick and and I learned more about piping techniques.
